October marks the beginning of many things: Fall, the Halloween season, the rush of the holidays that consume our lives in the last three months of every year, and for hundreds of writers around the world, both seasoned and green, the beginning of a hectic writing challenge known as National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo.
